One of my absolute favorites, Alexa Chung is the new face of the Italian shoe brand Superga. She looks so adorable and her beauty is captivating as always in their most recent ad campaign. Check out the cute video below of Miss Chung behind the scenes of her shoot strutting her thing the way she knows how to do it.
It's inevitable to not love her.

Jeffrey Campbell
Jeffrey Campbell has am array of awesome shoes for his spring/summer 2011 lookbook.
Here are a few of my favorite shoe picks from his most recent lookbook.
I'm having a hard time deciding which shoes I like the most because I could see myself wearing all of them.
You can find more shoes and find his entire lookbook here.
I'm thinking that a pair of these would be needed in my closet and that a Jeffrey Campbell purchase is in order soon!

And then there was Coco
I've been m.i.a for a while now. With the combination of the poor weather and late work days, I've been left with hardly anytime to shoot any photos for the blog so I apologize for the lack of posts. Back when I first decided that I would begin Coco Says Style and take a leap into the blogging world, I asked my beautiful, talented and most amazing friend Bianca of Squirrel Hobbies if she could shoot photos of me for my blog. She was wonderful enough to lend her talent and sure enough she let her fingers and her camera do the magic as she snapped photos of me out and about throughout the beautiful city of Los Angeles. The photos resulted in nothing short of amazing and I am eternally grateful to her for helping out.
I selected the streets of downtown LA as my playground for the shoot. The city is truly a work of art within itself and is filled with all types of culture which cultivates all forms of life. The art work in the photos happens to be by an anonymous LA artist who has pieces of work all throughout the city that I'm a fan of. I chose to shoot amongst his piece because this particular one inspires happiness within; synonymously I happen to have a deep admiration for street art in it's entirety.
I'm wearing my American Apparel cardigan shawl and viscose tee, with Paige denim jeans and Zara platform wedges.
This week has gotten off to a good start and I couldn't be more excited that my case of the Monday's wasn't too bad today. I hope I can share bit of that joy and rub off on all of you even if it is just a bit!
I hope you all have a good week.

She makes me wanna...
Scarlett Johansson is such a babe. She makes me want to chop all of my hair off and rock the bob again. One word can best describe ScarJo: Gorgeous.
Check out the recent photo shoot below for April 2011's issue of Vogue Japan.
Drool.
Hope you're all having an amazing week! The weather here isn't the best right now but I'm making the best of it while it's here!

The sun was high
I took these photos yesterday while up on a rooftop in Hollywood. I love the amazing view from up top because I can see all areas of Los Angeles from different angles of the building. You've got downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood- along with the famous Hollywood sign, the Griffith Observatory, and more.
With such beautiful weather, it's despairing to think that people in a whole other country are enduring much more pain and horrific consequences than those who live here in the US. My heart goes out to those in Japan and all of their families and loved ones. I could not even begin to imagine how those people feel nor relate to the sentiment of what they're going through. I'm sending all my love to the victims of the recent earthquake. We can all do our part and contribute by donating to a disaster relief fund.
I'm wearing my vintage blazer, American Apparel raglan over an American Apparel lawn tee button up, Zara pants, and my favorite shoes ever- my Dolce Vita platform heels. These shoes need to be completely re-soled; I love them so much and I refuse to give them up.
On another note- the sun was high and so was I, I thought of you...

The Strokes = musical bliss
Ok, so I am a die hard Strokes fan and have been since about 2001; no but seriously they're my favorite band. They've been on a hiatus as a band since 2007, meanwhile all working on side projects which all proved to be impressive and showcased their individual talents. Well, in case you didn't already know, the boys are back together and they're putting out a new album, Angles, which is due to be released in 8 days.... YAY! I couldn't be more excited about their return to the music scene again, and the new album. The fellas released the video for their first single off the album, Undercover of Darkness, and it is quite the indulgence being that they all look so dapper in addition to the song being "music to my ears".
Check it out below:
I hope you've all had a great weekend!

Miu Miu Love
Miuccia Prada did not disappoint with her latest collection. Miu Miu displayed their latest collection during Paris fashion week today at Palais d'léna and every piece that went down the runway was truly amazing. The glittery shoes, the sunglasses, the printed dresses, the gorgeous womanly silhouettes- fashion overload that has left me breathless. The models appeared reminiscent of 40's glamour and depicted glamorous women of that era. Truly breathtaking and absolutely ostentatious; I want it all! One of my top picks for Paris fashion week.
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection.
If you missed the show you can check it out below. Enjoy!

Color me blue
My apologies for taking a break for a few days- it was quite hectic last week and I could barely make time to manage my own hair. Any who, it's a new week and it's definitely off to a great start!
I got a chance to play around in the sun and get away from the daily grind. I'm wearing one of my favorite sun dresses from Zara. I bought it over the summer after falling in love with everything about it; from the neckline, to the flower print, and pleats- it's arguably a favorite dress of mine in my closet.
I have quite the obsession with nail polish. This particular color happens to be my absolute favorite. The color is called Oh, Audrey- after Audrey Hepburn of course, and it is completely adorable. I'm not sure if it's the color or my obsession with Audrey and Breakfast at Tiffany's, but I would wear this color on my nails everyday if I could. My only problem with nail polish (on my nails in particular) is that I tend to get bored with colors rather quickly and therefore I'm constantly changing it.
I hope everyone else is having a great week so far!
